James was my new favorite childhood cartoon, giving Calvin and Hobbes (my original favorite childhood cartoon) a run for its money. This sparsely illustrated cartoon somehow manages to capture the motion, wisdom and innocence of youth. Sadly, like Calvin and Hobbes, this appears to no longer be in production. If you can find the printed collection I recommend it.
God gave us memory so that we might have roses in December.
James M. Barrie
